- Basics of medical diagnostics: medical history; clinical examination; additional examinations: Laboratory, imaging; endoscopy (2 hours) Medication theory: active ingredients, dosage form, application, dose, indication, contraindication, adverse effects, interactions (1 hour) The small medicine cabinet (1 hour) With case studies
- Cardiovascular diagnostics: Medical history, clinical examination, blood pressure measurement, Schellong test, ECG, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization (1 hour) Cardiac diseases: Coronary heart disease, valve defects, myocardial diseases (1 hour) Heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, embolisms: (1 hour) High blood pressure, arterial and venous circulatory disorders, thromboses: (1 hour) With case studies
- Diabetes, overweight, obesity with secondary diseases: (1 hour) Diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands: (1 hour) Diseases of the primary and secondary male and female reproductive organs: (1 hour) Osteoporosis: (1 hour) With case studies
- Central/peripheral paralysis: stroke, craniocerebral trauma, paraplegia, polyneuropathy (2 hours) Headaches, dizziness: (1 hour) Interprofessional neurophysiotherapy module with physiotherapist (1 hour). With case studies
- Inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases of the nervous system: meningitis, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson’s disease (2 hours) Diseases of the ears: (1 hour) Diseases of the eyes: (1 hour). With case studies
- Diseases of the digestive system: oral cavity, oesophagus, stomach, intestine, pancreas, liver; vomiting, constipation (2 hours) Principles of nutrition: (1 hour) Diseases of the skin: eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, externally used drugs (1 hour) With case studies
- Diseases of the respiratory organs: lung function, oxygen saturation, asthma, COPD, emphysema, tumors, pleural effusion (2 hours) Diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract: urinalysis, urinary tract infections, stone disease, renal insufficiency (dialysis and transplantation) (1 hour) Diseases of the blood and bone marrow: anemia, coagulation disorders, blood thinning, leukemia (1 hour).
