In this course you will learn about the models and disorder areas of mental illnesses and their manifestations and gain an insight into the diagnostic processes of psychiatry. You will be introduced to standardized self-assessment and external assessment procedures.
On the basis of the categories of psychopathology, such as consciousness, orientation, affectivity, thinking/identity and their disorders, you will identify psychiatric clinical pictures.
The area of psychopathology is covered in the course by discussing psychopathological theories and models. You will deepen your knowledge by treating the most common psychosomatic clinical pictures (cardiovascular, gynecological, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs, rheumatic diseases, pain from a psychosomatic perspective).
The entire course is practical and practice-oriented.
