In this course, participants will be introduced to the “Ring Ritual” according to Laura Sheleen and will discover the diverse roles of the participants in this unique ritual. In addition, you will be familiarized with the Sufi ritual “4 cardinal points”.
The course delves into the symbol of the circle, also known as the mandala, and considers its meaning through experiencing the rituals on different levels. Participants will understand the self as defined by depth psychology, the power of social interaction and the psychotherapeutic effect of this symbol.
In addition, they will focus on variations in space and movement as well as the feeling of being included in relation to rituals and their deep psychological effect. Participants will also experience the symbolism of how rituals can have a transformative effect on different levels.
